GT2 Strip Down: No Shortcuts, No Dust Left Behind
H PenushmanThis GT2 came to us after being driven hard on a dry lake bed. The result? A layer of ultra-fine dust packed into every surface, seam, and component—far beyond what any exterior wash or interior detail could reach. Our solution was simple: take everything apart and clean it the right way.

Full Teardown—Because That’s What It Takes
We don’t patch around problems. The car was stripped down to the shell—underbody panels off, drivetrain and suspension removed. Anything that could trap dust was taken off and cleaned properly. If you want it truly clean, that’s the only way.

Every Surface, Every Part
Lake bed dust isn’t just dirt—it’s abrasive, moisture-retaining, and invasive. It works into electrical connectors, HVAC systems, and cooling hardware. We used compressed air, steam, and non-aggressive cleaners to flush it from every surface. Brackets, heat shields, lines, and wiring were either deep-cleaned or replaced. Nothing was overlooked.

Why We Do It This Way
Dust like this causes long-term damage—corrosion, overheating, component failure. Skipping steps means leaving problems behind. We don’t work that way. When a car leaves here, it’s not just clean—it’s reset. No unknowns. No hidden issues.

The Result
This GT2 is now fully stripped, fully clean, and ready for the next chapter—whether it’s performance upgrades, track prep, or full reassembly. Every system starts fresh. Every surface is accounted for.

If you want the job done right—with nothing missed—we’re built for that.
